Pinto Beans with Bacon
Bacon makes any dish better. Serve beans topped with green onions for added flavor.

Ingredients

2 slices Smithfield Bacon, diced

1 16-oz can pinto beans, drained

1/3 cup chicken broth

1 tablespoon adobo sauce (from canned chipotle chiles) OPTIONAL

2 green onions, sliced
Steps
In small saucepan, heat chicken broth with diced bacon gently to render some of the bacon fat, about 5 minutes. Stir in pinto beans and adobo sauce, if using, and heat through gently. Garnish with green onions to serve.
