Mouthwatering Tomato and Ham Salad
Looking for an ideal fresh salad to feed a crowd? This summer favorite only takes a few minutes to prepare and is sure to draw rave reviews.

Ingredients

7 cups of Smithfield Ham (any ham will work except Smithfield Country Ham, which is too salty), cut into 1O strips

2 large red Beefsteak tomatoes

2 large yellow Beefsteak tomatoes

2 plum tomatoes

1 pint of grape tomatoes

1 pint of cherry tomatoes

1 cup Vidalia onions, cut into 10 strips

1 cup extra virgin olive oil

2 T. balsamic vinegar

1 T. fresh thyme
-
2 t. salt
-
1 t. fresh ground black pepper

3 oz. fresh mozzarella cheese (optional)
Steps
Wash and dry all tomatoes. Next, cut beefsteaks and plum tomatoes into a medium dice; place in large mixing bowl. Cut cherry and grape tomatoes in half and add to bowl. Add the remaining ingredients and stir. Rest for 5 minutes and serve.
