Mexican Burger
America’s favorite cook-out food with a delicious south-of-the-border taste. These burgers made from lean ground pork have a satisfying bite thanks to the Mexican spices (plus oregano!). Serve on a bun with your favorite condiments.

Ingredients

1 pound Smithfield Ground Pork

1 t. ground black pepper

1/4 t. salt

1/4 t. ground cummin
-
1/4 t. ground oregano
-
1/4 t. seasoned salt

1/4 t. crushed red chilis
Steps
Gently mix together ground pork and seasonings; shape into 4 burgers about 3/4-inch in thickness. Place over moderately hot coals in a kettle-style grill, lower hood and grill for 5 minutes; turn and finish grilling 4 to 5 minutes more. Serve immediately on sandwich buns if desired.
