I have been searching for a recipe like this since attending a friend's small wedding. Being "Georgia" girls, we enjoy these easy to make, homemade flavor recipes! I did not know what the spread was. Her's were wrapped in bread. I always felt omitting the bread would have enhanced the flavor. Paula proved it! This can even be served as a light lunch with a small side salad.
