Pork Roast with Maple-Mustard Glaze

This interesting blend of sweet and savory ingredients makes this pork roast a favorite for company dinner. Might not want to invite too many folks though. This juicy roast is delicious the next day sliced thin for a sandwich.

Serves: 6
Cook Time: 60 Minutes

Smithfield Product: Marinated Pork, Fresh Pork

Ingredients

  • 1 2-pound Smithfield Boneless Pork Loin Roast
  • 2/3 c. maple syrup
  • 3 T. Dijon-style mustard
  • 2 T. cider vinegar
  • 2 T. soy sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Steps

Stir together maple syrup, mustard, vinegar, soy sauce, salt and pepper. Spread evenly over pork roast and place in shallow pan. Roast pork in a 350 degree F. oven for 45 minutes to 1 1/4 hours until there's a hint of pink in the center of the meat and the juices run clear. Remove roast from oven and let rest 10 minutes before slicing to serve.

Serving Suggestions
