Pork Ribs With Sweet Pepper Dry Rub

Do yourself a favor and make these bone-sucking ribs tonight!

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 pounds Smithfield St. Louis Style SpareRibs
  • 1/2 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1/4 cup sweet paprika
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons ground black pepper
  • 2 teaspoons dry mustard
  • 1 teaspoon ground thyme
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons celery salt
  • Heavy duty aluminum foil

Steps

In a medium bowl combine brown sugar and next 9 ingredients. Rub spare ribs with seasonings until well coated. Preheat oven to 250 degrees F. Wrap ribs in 2 layers of heavy duty aluminum foil. Bake 2 hours Remove from oven and unwrap. Grill over medium-high heat 30 minutes or until desired degree of tenderness.
