Mango Mint Green Tea

Mango nectar adds tropical flavor to green tea, and together they deliver a powerhouse of nutrients in a glass, as well as cooling refreshment.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cold water
  • 5 green tea bags
  • 1 cup mango nectar
  • 1/2 cup fresh mint leaves, lightly crushed
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • Ice cubes

Steps

Bring water to a boil in a large saucepan. Remove from heat; add tea bags. Cover and steep 5 minutes. Remove and discard tea bags. Add mint and sugar, stirring until sugar dissolves. Stir in mango nectar; pour into a pitcher. Cover and refrigerate until well chilled, at least 6 hours or overnight. Strain tea, and serve in tall glasses over ice.

Serving Suggestions

Garnish glasses with thin slices of fresh mango, lemon or lime, and float a mint sprig on top.
