Ginger Pork Chops

It's the sesame oil that gives these thick chops their sizzle. While they’re cooking under a covered grill why not throw on a few ears of fresh corn too?

Cook Time: 15 Minutes

Smithfield Product: Fresh Pork

Ingredients

  • 4 Smithfield Boneless Center Cut Pork Chops (1 1/2-inch thick)
  • 2 c. dry white wine OR distilled vinegar
  • 1/2 c. sliced green onions
  • 4 T. soy sauce
  • 2 T. sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/2 T. fresh ginger grated

Steps

Combine all ingredients in a ziplock bag; seal bag and refrigerate 2 to 24 hours. Remove pork from marinade; discarding marinade. Grill chops over indirect heat in covered grill for 12 to 15 minutes turning once.

Serving Suggestions

Serve these succulent chops with garlic potatoes and a colorful vegetable medley.
