Serves: 7
Cook Time: 10 Minutes
Preheat the broiler. Line two baking sheets with foil. Cut the bacon slices in half and place on one of the lined baking sheet. Broil for 3 minutes. Remove the bacon from the oven and allow to cool. When cool enough to handle, wrap each artichoke half in a piece of bacon with the broiled side touching the artichoke. Place wrapped artichokes on the second lined baking sheet and broil for 4 minutes.
Meanwhile, in a medium bowl, combine the mayonnaise, basil, lemon juice, hot sauce, salt and pepper. Secure bacon and artichoke together with a decorative toothpick and serve basil mayo alongside for dipping.
For game day, appetizers can be reheated on the grill until bacon is brown and crisp.

Delicious! I made these for a party I went to. I set them down and then went in to clean up the bake sheet. By the time I came back out, they were already all gone.
