She called it smothered pork chops and she didn't use mushrooms (we were too poor) nor garlic (she didn't like them. Go figure!) Thank you so much Paula. I turn to your cookbooks almost daily, and I have never tried to make any of your recipes that didn't turn out just right. Everybody thinks I can really cook. Don't tell.
