I bought this hickory smoked spiral glazed ham this past Dec. on QVC. Did not really need at that time, so I froze. Thawed & cooked for this Easter. I am 61 years old & have eaten a lot of hams thru the years. Undoubtedly this was the VERY BEST ham I have cooked yet. The next day was even better cold with Boar's Head Honey Mustard. I prefer the sweetness of this glazed ham. Prep time about 5 minutes. Cook time about 2 hours. Do not overheat or overcook! I let the ham rest about 30 minutes with aluminum foil still intact with towel over that before serving. How easy is that? Plan on taking one of these hams to Gulf Shores over the 4th of July to feed a party croud. My contribution will be a snap to fix! Keep up the good taste Smithfield!!!! You make my life easy.

When you take the ham out to pour the glaze over it do you flip the ham over and pour it on the sliced side?

Sorry to say that this is the worse tasting ham I have ever tried to eat. In 70 years I've tried plenty. It has a weard taste. I cooked it the exact way the instuction said too. Anyone have an idea why this has happened. My wife , who has a great taste for food said the same thing about it. A waste of my money.

I'm not a cook. This year i've made warmed two hams successfully yet, i'm confused about the instructions. One said "place in pan on the bone side out" and the other said "place on cut side down."
This is confusing to one who never cooks. Please help?
