1. In large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, sugar, garlic powder and salt. In separate bowl, whisk eggs with milk. Whisk in oil; stir into flour mixture just until combined. Fold in ham, mozzarella, Parmesan and basil. Let stand for 10 minutes.
2. Preheat waffle iron; cook waffles according to manufacturer’s instructions. Serve waffles with warm marinara sauce for dipping.
3. Make-ahead: Refrigerate waffles for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 2 weeks. Reheat in toaster oven.
Tip: Substitute a mix of your favorite cheeses for mozzarella if desired.
