1. Cut bread into 1 ½-inch cubes and spread out on rimmed baking tray to dry out for several hours or overnight if using a softer bread. Cook sausage patties according to package directions and drain on paper towels. In bowl, lightly beat eggs and stir in butter, buttermilk, sugar and cinnamon.
2. Prepare grill for direct grilling over medium heat. Pour buttermilk mixture over cubed bread and lightly toss to coat and immediately place on skewers alternating with sausage and fruit wedges. Grill on lightly oiled rack for 5-8 minutes or until bread and fruit has lightly browned and edges lightly charred. Serve hot with your favorite syrup!
