1-pound Smithfield® Fresh Sausage Roll, cooked and crumbled
16 oz. of croissant dough
1 tablespoon melted butter
2 teaspoons garlic salt
1 teaspoon pepper
1 cup shredded cheese of your choice
12 eggs, whisked
Cooking spray
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees; grease a 9x13 baking dish and set aside. Cut croissant dough into equal-sized pieces and toss with melted butter, garlic salt and pepper.
Layer bottom of dish with cooked Smithfield Sausage Roll, sprinkle with half of the cheese, pour eggs over the top, add croissant dough pieces and sprinkle with remaining cheese.
Bake for 30-40 minutes, depending on oven and pan, until the croissant dough is cooked and eggs are set. Cover halfway through with tinfoil if croissants are turning brown too quickly.
Allow croissant bake to cool slightly; slice and serve.
TIP: Can be made the day before, refrigerated and baked the next day
