Mother’s Day Lemon and Forget-Me-Not Tablescape

Lovely spring shades of pale blue, lime green, and sunshine yellow are simple and beautiful

1. Arrange the tablecloth on the table. Place the runner down the center of the table, or fold the fabric into a runner, ironing it to crease the edges.
2. Set the table with the dinner plates, napkins, and flatware.
   
3. Pile whole lemons in the compotes. Tuck flowers in between the lemons.
   
4. To make lemon “vases” at each place setting, slice off one side of each lemon, and hollow out about half of the lemon. Tuck flowers in the lemon halves.
   
   

Materials Needed:

• Pale blue tablecloth
• Pale coordinating table runner or large piece of fabric
• White dinner plates with pale blue stripe or other simple pattern
• White salad plates
• Pale blue napkins
• 1 large footed white compote dish
• 2 small footed white compote dishes
• Sharp paring knife
• Lemons
• Forget-me-nots
• Lime-green button mums
