Mother’s Day Flower Ball Pedestal Centerpiece

Pretty glass tiers are alive with blooms, and Mom will appreciate the effort.

1. Set the table with the tablecloth; arrange the runner down the center of the table.
   
2. Center the foot of the large cake pedestal on the cake plate. Stack the glass compote on the cake pedestal.
   
3. Soak the Styrofoam ball in water and allow do drain.
   
   
4. Trim the stems of the roses and mums to 1-inch long; poke the stems into the soaked ball to cover it completely.
   
5. Make a bow with the ribbon and pin it to the top of the flower ball. Place the flower ball into the bowl of the glass compote.
   
   
6. Trim the stems of the tulips to 2- to 3 inches. Fill the vases with water and tulips. Arrange the vases of tulips around the edge of the cake plate and the pedestal.

• Bright pink table runner or fabric folded and pressed into a runner

• Glass compote dish
• Styrofoam ball 3 to 4 inches in diameter
