Easter Carnation Wreath Tablescape

  1. Spray paint the twigs white.
  2. Set the table with the tablecloth, runner, plates, napkins, glasses, and flatware.
  3. Soak the wreath form in water, and allow it to drain. Place it on the cake pedestal. Trim the ends of the carnation stems; poke them into the wreath form to cover it completely.
  4. Place the dyed eggs in the carnation nest.
  5. Form nests with the paper grass strips and place them at each place setting. Nestle the tiny colored eggs in the nests.
  6. Cut out bird shapes with scissors and use markers to write names on them. Arrange them on the nests at each place setting.
  7. Arrange the twigs on the runner.

This arrangement looks so light and inviting. What a cheerful and simple way to dress up the table for this holiday!

This is adorable. At first I thought it was a coconut cake! I may have to make this centerpiece for Easter dinner. Thanks for the idea.
