Cactuses Bring Colorful Flair To A Summer Centerpiece

1. Cover your table with the tablecloth.

2. Arrange the runner down the center of the table.

3. Place the cactus plants in the glass-lined black metal lanterns.

4. Place battery-operated votives in the paper globe lanterns.

5. Arrange the lanterns on the table.

6. At each place setting, top the plate with a folded bandana to use as a napkin, and place a paper lantern on the napkin.

Materials Needed:

• Textured, neutral tablecloth
• Bright colored table runner (from home goods stores)
• 3 glass-lined black metal lanterns (from import stores such as Pier 1 and World Market)
• Assorted sizes and colors paper lanterns (from craft stores or import stores)
• Tiny potted cacti (from nurseries or some grocery stores)
• Colored bandanas
• White or coordinating colored plates
